My grandfather taught me to suck the plucked end of a red clover flower to test its sweetness.  This wine reminds me of that. A fleeting, soft herbaceous honey.

In the glass, the first sensation is the aroma - or the breath of the vineyard if you are feeling poetic; oyster shell flintiness & tropical pineapple.  Once onboarded, texture is creamy & enveloping with tastes of brûlée, melon & mandarin.  And flavours stay onboard. This has length.

A dry wine with the suggestion of honeyed fruit. Balanced, we think beautifully, by gentle oak.  Velvet warmth.

Hand-harvested by neighbours, family and friends.

Michael Cooper, July 2025.   4 stars

Bright, light lemon/green, it is mouthfilling and well-rounded, with generous, ripe fruit flavours, a subtle oak influence, savoury notes adding complexity, and very good delicacy and length.  Fragrant and subtle, it's well worth cellaring to 2027+.
