Single-vineyard, premium Pinot Noir.
Complex and multifaceted and, like good Pinot Noir is, something of a paradox - not necessarily what you expect at first glance. And we like this. Substance without pretension. This is the head girl from a wealthy family, chosing to work menial jobs in her summer holidays. A poet painting fences. The bar tender with a voice that will lead him to Carnegie Hall. Much, much more going on than meets the eye.
Lit with a pure bright brilliance in colour. Classic Wairarapa expression - complex savoury flavours on a silky bed of pert & poised acidity & complementary tannins.
Dark cherry, vanilla & mushroom. A sense of black liquorice strap & dark cocoa too. Whatever you find, very confident you will agree this is sensuous, balanced & complex wine. Worthy of your time. Will cellar well.
Hand-harvested by neighbours & friends.
