You can — but most opened bottles don’t improve overnight. 500mL removes the pressure to glug a full size bottle or risk it turning on you & being tipped out.

Our core range — Chardonnay and Pinot Noir — are available in both formats. We will roll out a Rosé soon.  Keen on your thoughts.  Caroline is pressuring me to make a sparkling Rosé.  Purely selfish reasons! Does sound good though.

It suits midweek particularly well, but it’s equally at home at lunch, smaller gatherings, or when you want something thoughtful without excess.  Why should we not drink great wine with dinner?

Obvious to most that wine is under pressure just now.  Despite this we don't believe there is any less interest in premium estate wine.  In fact, maybe there is stronger interest in wine as an artisan, crafted product deeply rooted in human culture and stories.  We've learned from customers that we love the "grown here" initimacy of premium wine.

But life is suddenly a little strange. People are busy, harassed, attention depleted, and stressed.  And we are not in a time of bread and roses. We believe wine hasn't responded thoughtfully in all this.  People are peopling differently - we socialise weirdly now. Smaller gatherings, love of home cooking,  moderation... Wine is currently scrambling for relevance via all sorts of novel tactices - goonbags (again), cans, tiny little beakers, jalapeno infused wine... Our research suggests the 500mL aligns premium wine with how people are actually living and their continued interest in quality wine and pleasant wine rituals.
